A Weta in the class

Today Denys came to school with a bug.  We weren't sure if it was a grasshopper or a tiny, little weta so we used the Internet to find out.  The bug had "large, spiny back legs" so we think it was a weta.  We hadn't see a small weta before.  Denys took it back home so he and his Mum could let it go.  Thank you for bringing it to show us Denys.
