Busy children

Yesterday was our first wet lunchtime in quite a while.
I was very pleased to see the children working well on their chosen activities.

Special visitors

Jayne (Amelia's Mum) and their friend Karin came to talk to us this morning.  We learnt how to play "Paper, scissors, rock."  In Japan, lots of things are decided this way, for example, who will have the first turn, who will have the last apple.  Jayne said she has even seen it used to decide who will be on the PTA at school!  We practiced playing this...

...it was lots of fun!

Then Karin and Amelia showed us some origami.

We made a little dog!
Then Karin showed us some more complicated origami...

We had lots of fun learning with Amelia, Jayne and Karin.
Thank you so much for visiting our class!

A new Shining Star

Welcome Elijah!
