Some things you could ask at home: Which shapes have four sides? What shape has three corners? Name the round shape.

Geometry
We have been learning about 2D shapes. The painted shapes outside are ideal for us to reinforce our learning.
Fitness
To end our fitness session, we went for a 'Slow Motion' run...
However by the end, everyone was raring to go!

The Great Kiwi Conundrum
Costumes need to be at school by Tuesday.
Friday 26th NO SCHOOL ASSEMBLY
(Full School Dress Rehearsal)
Monday 29th 10.00am Performance
Tuesday 30th 6.30pm Performance
Wednesday 1st 6.30pm Performance
Children are required to be at all 3 Performances.
Tickets are available from the office - $5 per person.
There will be no door sales and tickets are limited to 250 per performance.
Children may be picked up from Rooms 5/6 when they have performed (after the evening shows).
We will let you know times closer to the show.
If you are watching the show, the children will wait with us until the show is finished.

Show costumes
For those having trouble with what to wear, get some ideas by googling the theme eg "explorer costumes kids" then go to images. There are lots of possibilities that are quick and easy but please remember, the focus is New Zealand.
