Student Council
Tara and Cian updated us today on Student Council happenings.
They were impressed we could tell them about H.E.A.R.T. and how to look after our school.

A birthday surprise
Today was it was Phil's birthday. Phil is our groundsman and does a brilliant job helping Steve take care of the school. In appreciation of all his work, Westport South School presented him with a new bike and helmet! This afternoon, he came and showed us all and we said "Happy birthday" to him!

Room 3 comes to help
Room 3 joined us for the afternoon. We used the sandpit, puzzles and balls and they helped us clean up and pack our bags. To end the day, we watched a little bit of the Minions movie. It was great to work with them and we hope we can spend time with them again,

Assembly
I was so proud of you all at assembly today Room 6! You sat so well without touching anything, you were really demonstrating H.E.A.R.T.
Class Awards
The weekly class awards went to Jack and Devin this week for a super start to school, congratulations Jack and Devin!
Principal's Award
Huge congratulations to Rihanna for receiving the Principal's Award at assembly. Rihanna also had her name drawn out to get the Subway order on Tuesday! Nice going Rihanna!
Welcome to School
This morning Devin and Jack received their welcome to school certificates at assembly.
