Letter O

Orange jelly with oranges in it starts with letter O.

We added chocolate chips to reinforce our digraph ‘ch’.

O is for ooblek

Our science experiment was making ‘Ooblek’, a mixture of cornflour and water.  When mixed, it is a liquid that runs straight off fingers but when it is dry, it solidifies.  The children were fascinated at seeing it in its hardened form later.  We swept it up and put it in the bin so it wouldn’t block the drain.  The children loved played  with it.  Once dry, it easily brushed off clothes.
