Numeracy

We made groups of ten so that we could count in 10's.

U is for unicycle

Breon showed us how he could ride a unicycle!

Q is for quince

Look at the Quince, many children had not heard of it before.  We cut it in half to see what it looked like.  It smelt nice!

After Wala

We discussed recycling as part of our Sustainability unit and decided to make some African drums.

When they are dry, we will see how good they sound!

Young Enterprise

Look who was selling lemonade and citrus slice outside her house!
Amika made the special table with her Dad, then was busy running her Lemonade Stand with her Mum today.  What a great idea Amika!  I hope you had a successful morning!

P.S. The lemonade was yummy and the citrus since was amazing!

Wala

This is the show we attended on Friday morning and it was absolutely fabulous!  Two young men from Ghana played drums for us and sang.  There was a very high level of student (and teacher) participation and we all really enjoyed ourselves!  Ben, Leroy, Sam, Brooklyn and Ella even got to go up on the stage!

Imaginative Play

I loved watching these boys play with the farm animals this week.

Queen starts with Q

Ella did a picture at home of a Queen for the letter Q.

50 nighter

Congratulations Ethan for achieving 50 nights of reading homework!
