Our Week's Highlights

What a busy week!
You might be interested in the highlights of the week according to Room 6!
(I will keep them anonymous)

"I liked putting my reading pouch in the container"
"I liked walking to assembly"
"I liked playing in the playground"
"I liked scootering"
"I liked patting my dog after school"

Seems I need to "up my game", nothing here mentioned about school work!

Maths with Room 5

This afternoon, Rooms 5 and 6 joined together to do some developmental maths activities.  The children worked co-operatively in groups and tidied up beautifully afterwards!  Well done Shining Stars and Busy Bees!

Draft writing

We wrote stories and then published them, they are hanging in our window.

Busy Readers

After morning tea, we come inside and read from the browsing boxes.

School Assembly

Tomorrow morning at 8.55am, we have school assembly in the hall.  There is seating at the back for parents and you are all most welcome!  Our new children will be presented with their "Welcome to School" awards.

Whanau Day tomorrow

Depending on the weather, we will have our annual Whanau Day in the morning.  Children may dress in House Colours instead of school uniform, even if it rains!
