A new shining star comes to visit
Today we welcomed Lachie for his very first school visit. He will soon be a member of Room 6, the Shining Stars. See you again next Tuesday, Lachie!

Ella-Rose came to show me she had found two letter c puzzle pieces. Well done Ella-Rose! Who can find a letter c on something at home, perhaps a newspaper or tin of food?

Facts to 5
We are learning how we can show facts to 5 using bags of counters and our fingers.
Jesse is showing us 3 + 2 = 5.
Carey is making 2 plus 3 to make 5.
Kieran is counting to check...
Porsha is making a fact to 5.
Rihanna is showing us 2 and 3 makes 5.
Ella-Rose is showing us 2 and 3 is 5.
Harry has made 3 + 2 is 5.
...2 and 3 is 5.
Emily knows 3 and 2 is 5.
There are lots of ways we can make a fact to 5 by using things in our homes such as buttons, bottle tops and stones.
Writing my name
Seth is learning to write the letters in his name...look how well he can write some of his letters! Keep up this great work Seth!

Assembly singing
At assembly this morning, the seniors went up and did the actions to two of the songs. I took these photos of Seth as he joined in...Seth you are a super groover!

Principal's Award
A huge congratulations to Rihanna for receiving the Principal's Award in assembly. Rihanna showed H.E.A.R.T. by returning her books on time, and helping others to choose a book in the library.
