A special treat!

Mrs Robertson had something special to end our letter Ii and Jj week, ice-cream and jellybeans!

A perfect way to end the week, thanks Mrs Rob!

Great excitement!

After assembly, the children were very excited to see a car transporter going past the school, not something we generally see in Westport!

We watched as it backed down the road where it picked up another vehicle.
Later we drew pictures and wrote stories.
This sort of thing is a great learning opportunity which we endeavour to make the most of.

Showing H.E.A.R.T. at assembly

Congratulations to Emily, Ruby, Oliver and Nick for showing H.E.A.R.T. at assembly.

Special Awards

At assembly this morning, our two Top Camper awards went to Skye and Wiremu for being outstanding on our Buller Bridge/Domain trip.

75 nighter

Congratulations Emily for completing 75 nights of reading homework!

H is for house

Check out our really cool looking houses we made last week!

Humpty Dumpty's wall

For numeracy, we made Humpty Dumpty's wall.  We needed to count how many blocks we had used and then suggest items that were bigger/smaller than the walls.
