Dress Up Day

Room 6 was invaded by a band of unruly pirates today!

Just as well there were some pretty princesses to keep them in line!

Everyone performed the Pirate Song at assembly with Room 5...

...and then posed for photos.

Finally, an early morning tea was needed...because it's hard work being a pirate or a princess!

Learning our names

It is important we learn to say the letters in our name and put them in order.  Look at the great work Ethan did today while working on his name!  Ka pai Ethan!

Life Education

This week Room 6 were lucky enough to attend two sessions with Carmen and Harold in the Life Education caravan.  We learnt about healthy eating and the importance of a balanced diet.  We learnt which foods keep us healthy, which foods helps us go, which foods help our bones and teeth and which foods help our muscles grow.  Please ask your child about some of the things they learnt.

To support the Life Education cause, there are pens and pencils in the office for sale at the price of $2 each.
Thank you very much Carmen and Harold for teaching us!
