H.E.A.R.T. Week 5

#TheFairestOfThemAll

On Friday we attended this show put on by the New Zealand Playhouse Theatre Group.  In the past, this group has put on some spectacular performances at school. Friday's performance was absolutely outstanding as usual and perhaps the best show I have seen, it was thoroughly entertaining with a great message - live life in the real world, not in the virtual world on devices.

Congratulations to the three young performers of this play, you all did a fantastic job and we look forward to seeing you in the future on stage and screen!

A class visitor

Mrs Duston came to Room 6 to show us a little black kitten she was looking after.  Some of us patted it.  We think it was quite sleepy after all the attention! Thank you for sharing Mrs Duston!

Brooklyn's news

Wow, look what Brooklyn brought to school to show us!
It is a stick insect she found in a tree.
Her Mum said there were lots of stick insects in the tree and this one is green.
Sometimes stick insects can be brown and 'sticky' looking. Hence the name, stick insect!
Thanks Brooklyn!

Matching objects and numerals

We worked on matching the correct number of objects to a numeral.

Ka pai Jayah and Amika, you did a really good jobs of this!
