Mufti Day tomorrow

Life Education visit
We were really lucky because we were first to go to the caravan today for our Life Education session! We met Carmen and Harold the Giraffe. We learnt a lot of things and we can't wait to go again next week! Thank you Carmen and Harold! Parents/caregivers - can you ask your child about some of the things they learnt?
Pre-School Visit
This morning we welcomed Aidyn on his first school visit. He enjoyed coming to the Life Education caravan with us, see you again next week Aidyn!

Here's Harold!
Some of you have heard about Harold the Giraffe who is part of the Life Education programme. We are lucky to have our turn with the mobile classroom. We will be learning about our uniqueness in the 'V.I.P' programme. Our first session is 9.00am tomorrow and I promised the children I would put photos on the blog as soon as the caravan arrived. So here it is...

A special visitor
Look who came to see us in our class! Mrs Adams is one of our special Teacher Assistants at our school but not only that, she is Kai's Nana and Jack's Great Aunt! We think that is pretty cool!
Mr Anderson's suprise
Look what Mr Anderson got today! A new vacuum cleaner and it's name is Henry! Mr Anderson is very pleased with it, Henry works really well!

Special Visitors
We welcomed Kai and Olive for their first Transition to school visit.
Kai read a book about the letter K.
He made a poppy and glued it on to the wall.
I could see he was interested in Dinosaurs!
Olive located the letter 'l' in her poem and made a poppy.
She played the pony game with Emma.
We hope you had a great visit in Room 6, Kai and Olive. See you both again on Tuesday!
ANZAC Service
We could see the New Zealand Flag on the flagpole before the service. We all sat on the chairs which were reserved for the public.
We were ready with our poppies.
We waited on the steps with Room 5.
The Room 6 Shining Stars were outstanding during the service! Well done Room 6.
