Butterflies!

As expected, two butterflies hatched. However, they waited until after home time so the children didn't get to see!  Luckily Nick and Wiremu were still here and saw the first one emerge...

They could see it's tiny wings before they pumped the fluid through.

Ten minutes later, the second butterfly was ready to come out also.

I gently put them outside on the trees in the sunlight, they may still be there tomorrow!
