Keeping ourselves safe

Constable Terri came to talk to us about Secrets and Tricks.  We watched some short DVD clips and did some role plays.  Parents/Cargivers - please discuss with your child the things in the home booklets.  During role plays we discovered there were children who would not always make the right choices, which could lead to putting themselves in danger.

ASB Getwise

Michelle came to talk to us about money.  She showed us how to be superhero savers.  We talked about having three containers for money - Save, Spend and Share.  We learnt a rhyme, "Speed to your needs and wait for your wants."

The Room 6 children were very good at identifying the coins and notes she showed us!

Harrison's news

Harrison showed us a picture of his sister from the newspaper, he was very proud of her!
