It's hatched!

At 10.30am, our cocoon began to hatch.  It happened really quickly and we were able to watch it as the butterfly squeezed itself out of the cocoon.  It looked like it had small wings but these expanded as it pumped the fluid into them.  Later, we put the plant out in the sun and our new butterfly flew away!
